REBUNG 2.0 Meeting with Stakeholders
Projek REBUNG team are deeply committed to raising awareness about cancer and empowering communities to take proactive steps towards early detection. Through extensive engagement with stakeholders, including medical professionals, advocacy groups, and community leaders, we have meticulously crafted initiatives aimed at promoting cancer awareness and advocating for early screening.
8th December 2022: ARAH meeting with SELangkah
In this meeting, we discussed about how REBUNG will be incorporated into ARAH and how the materials converge into the app. In conclusion, (i) SELangkah ARAH will be incorporated into Work Package 1 and 2 (ii) SELangkah suggested for all REBUNG module to be built inside SELangkah Content Management System (CMS)
10th January 2023: REBUNG engagement meeting with LPPKN
In this meeting, we discussed the list of LPPKN panel hospitals, mammogram voucher in Beacon Hospital, quota for mammogram subsidy voucher and train the trainers programme.
9th February 2023: Engagement Meeting with Kampung Chempaka Community Leaders & Cancer NGOs
Venue: Balairaya Kampung Chempaka
In this meeting, we discuss about:
(i) introduction to REBUNG 2.0 project
(ii) introduction to Ra.Kan Ku (Rakan Pembimbing Kanser Komuniti)
(iii) public health campaign about Cancer Early Diagnosis in Kampung Chempaka
13th February 2023: REBUNG2.0 engagement meeting with JKNS, MOH, LPPKN, PKD Petaling, Klinik Kesihatan Kelana Jaya & Klinik Kesihatan Taman Medan
In this meeting, we discussed the progress of REBUNG 1.0 and 2.0, REBUNG 1.0 at KK Taman Medan experience sharing, digitalisation of optimal cancer care pathway, MOU with MBPJ and Ra.Kan Ku in Klinik Kesihatan and Hospital Shah Alam, public and private partnership with Pink Ribbon Wellness (L) Foundation (PRWF), as well as training of General Practitioners, Medical Officers and nursing.
20 March 2023: REBUNG2.0 engagement meeting with NCSM, BCWA, Pink Unity, CORUM, PCSM, HOSPIS Malaysia, PRWF & BeBS

The agenda of this meeting is to :
(i) Engage with cancer NGOS
(ii) Co-creating community navigation training with Ra.Kan Ku
(iii) Breast health education with Know Your Lemons
19 September 2023: REBUNG x Primary Care Partners Meeting
The agenda of the meeting were:
(i) Role of REBUNG 2.0 Primary Care Stakeholders
(ii) Discussion on REBUNG workflow with KK Kelana Jaya & PEKA B40 clinics
(iii) REBUNG Campaign Day Discussion
(iv) Usage of SELangkah Application & Portal for REBUNG Primary Care Providers
10 October 2023: REBUNG outreach future planning meeting
In this meeting, we discussed about:
(i) Introduction to REBUNG project
(ii) Future directions and collaborations
(iii) Strategic communication campaign
(iv) Optimal care pathway for cancer early diagnosis
(v) Primary care doctors and nurses training
27 October 2023 & 15 December: Meeting with NCSM about Ra.Kan Ku
The meeting discussed the prospect to cooperate with NCSM for Ra.Kan Ku community navigator training in terms of NGO support and fund management whereas in the follow-up meeting, we discussed the ToR of REBUNG-NCSM Ra.Kan Ku i.e. the role and responsibilities of REBUNG and NCSM respectively, budget management and the Ra.Kan Ku training module.
27 October 2023: KKTM Fieldwork for SELangkah testing
Venue: Klinik Kesihatan Taman Medan
In this meeting, we discussed the mammogram referral pathway and SELangkah testing with a real patient.
17 November 2023: REBUNG and City Cancer (C/Can) Engagement with Dato Dr Fitzgerald Henry, Head of Surgical Services MOH
In this meeting we discussed the future planning for REBUNG and CCAN. The conclusion of this meeting are (i) more REBUNG programs to be pushed next year (ii) C/CAN workshop on thematic areas to be organized in 2024.
