The main purpose of this study is to develop a framework for integrated breast cancer survivorship care plan in the public healthcare institutions in Malaysia. This study consists of 3 phases. Phase 1 is to develop a Health System Needs Assessment questionnaire using Delphi method. Phase 2 is to conduct a cross sectional study to explore the needs of patients and the health system. Phase 3 is to develop a framework of breast cancer SCP based on the findings from the survey and to estimate the financial budget required to provide the relevant service provisions for breast cancer SCP in participating hospitals.

This study is reviewed and approved by Ministry of Health, Medical Research Ethics Committee, MREC (NMRR-20-1005-54636) and University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) MREC (ID no. 202171-10295).
